The Senior Consultant is a mid-level position for those with three to five years of healthcare market research experience. The Senior Consultant plays a key role in leading research projects that provide strategic insight and value for the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, leveraging strong internal and external communications skills, and managing market research projects to successful, on time completion.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant will engage with RG+A’S clients to develop and manage quantitative and qualitative market research projects, including:
- Leading the development of research materials, such as questionnaires and discussion guides
- Coordinating research activities undertaken by Research Associates and Senior Associates, moderator and other team members
- Reviewing and providing feedback on materials developed by project team members
- Ensuring that client directives and objectives are reflected in the research tools
- Managing project timelines and promoting the timely completion of research tasks
- Refining standard operating procedures for project plans when necessary
- Providing clients with project status updates
- Creating analysis plans
- Analyzing survey data collected
- Crafting interim and final reports
- Owning components of the project proposal development process
- Fostering effective relationships with vendors
Qualifications
- Three to five years in market research, preferably in the healthcare space
- Four-year college degree in business, psychology, life sciences or other related field
- Post-graduate degree (e.g., MS, MBA, Ph.D.) in the aforementioned fields a plus
- Expertise in Microsoft Suite applications, proficiency in PowerPoint preferred
- Experience using emerging data visualization tools preferred
- Proficiency in SPSS and/or other leading data tabulation software packages (e.g., WinCross, Q)
