Joan leads business development and client service efforts across several of RG+A’s major accounts. In this role, she is responsible for engaging with key customers to understand and translate their commercial needs into marketing research projects, and for ensuring that research findings are leveraged into results that are actionable and meaningful for the customer. Joan has more than 20 years of experience in marketing research and sales management for global healthcare data and insights suppliers, such as IMS Health and Arlington Medical Resources (AMR). Her experience spans both U.S. and global clients across a range of biopharmaceutical companies, from Top 10 Pharma to emerging small- and mid-cap manufacturers.
Prior to joining RG+A, Joan worked for six years as the Vice President of Account Development for BuzzBack, focusing exclusively on the needs of pharmaceutical and consumer health clients and helping them address their business objectives through quantitative and qualitative primary marketing research.
Joan is involved in several volunteer roles within the healthcare marketing research community, including the Philadelphia chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) and the Pharmaceutical Market Research Group (PMRG), where she sits on the organization’s Program Committee, responsible for planning PMRG’s annual CONNECT conference.
Joan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from University of Delaware.
